First Impressions of Jolene

 My first Impression of rats before we got a chance to hold them was that I did not like them. Most of the time rats are given a bad reputation. After holding my rat my nerves were put to rest she was not totally comfortable with me but since the first time holding her. I have seen her and held her 4 times and with each time we become more comfortable with each other.  my impression of rats has changed they are extremely soft and fun to hold I look forward to seeing her everyday. I decided to go with the name Jolene because it is the name of one of my favorite songs by Dolly Parton.
